LIVE MUSIC PRODUCTION was founded in Geneva more than 10 years
ago and quickly became the leader- in the organization of shows
in Suisse romande. As a member of the Suisse Society of show
organizers, it is now the second such company in Switzerland,
a remarkable achievement in view of the narrowness of the Suisse
romande market. Its founder, Michael Drieberg, originated most
of the major changes which have taken place in the show business
market in Switzerland over almost 20 years, such as:

From its construction to its management over many years. A unique
example of collaboration between private entrepreneurs and the
City and State of Geneva.
Live
Leading magazine for cinema and music. Since its creation, publication,
editorial line and collaboration with the EDIPRESSE group.
Soundlake
A recording studio equipped with the latest technology, set
up with such important partners as radio FRAMBOISE, the first
private radio station of Suisse romande.
Jungle & Records
The takeover of a discographic publishing company.
V.S.P. & Leysin Rock festival
Majority shareholders.
Francofolies
Licensed in Switzerland as the only festival present in several
European countries and organization of three editions of the
festival in the mountain station of NENDAZ.
Opus One
Founder Member with the Paleo Festival Nyon, the Zurich producer
Good News Productions AG and the Montreux Tourist Office (on
behalf of the Montreux Jazz Festival).
Entertainment tax
After several years political struggle carried out along with
our good friends, we managed by means of a popular vote, to
get rid of this one-off tax which penalized shows taking place
in Geneva.
Little Dream Foundation
The foundation created by Orianne and Phil COLLINS did me the
honour of asking me to take part in their auditioning committee,
seeking new talent among young children. This was quite an enriching
experience which I had already encountered in the Swiss selection
for the Eurovision contest.
LIVE MUSIC PRODUCTION differs from other concert organizers
in the diversity of its activities and the shows it presents.
With more than 1000 events and 3 million spectators, LIVE MUSIC
PRODUCTION is the company of records. The greatest number
of spectators in Geneva with LE CIRQUE DU SOLEIL, the biggest
renter of the ARENA since its construction, the record of
spectators at the Geneva stadium and the Tourbillon stadium
in Sion with JOHNNY HALLYDAY, the record of spectators at
the Pontaise stadium in Lausanne with PINK FLOYD.
LIVE MUSIC PRODUCTION is the main user of all the major locations
of shows in Suisse romande (Beaulieu theatre in Lausanne,
the Grand casino and Arena in Geneva, the Forum in Fribourg,
the lakeside skating rink in Neuchâtel, the Malley rink
in Lausanne, the Stadiums of Geneva, Lausanne, Sion, etc...)
In recent years, more and more prestigious companies (U.B.S.
- COOP - MIGROS - ETAT DE GENEVE, etc..) have called on LIVE
MUSIC PRODUCTON to organize their events.
We undertake to maintain our efforts in order to keep Suisse
romande at the centre of the European checkerboard of shows
and events.
